We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts & Inventory Associate to support the daily operations of our growing trailer dealership. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, inventory management, warehouse operations, merchandising, and hands-on work.
The Parts & Inventory Associate plays a key role in ensuring our customers, service team, and sales department have the parts, accessories, and inventory support they need while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional store environment.

What You'll Do
Customer Service & Parts Sales
- Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with parts and accessories needs.
- Identify and recommend parts and products based on customer requirements.
- Process parts sales transactions accurately and professionally.
- Support service technicians by locating and issuing parts and materials.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge.
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and system updates.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
- Organize, label, and maintain inventory locations.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, and damaged goods.
- Monitor stock levels and support replenishment efforts.
Shipping & Receiving
- Pull and prepare customer and intercompany orders.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate timely shipment of customer orders.
Store Merchandising & Staging
- Maintain showroom displays and merchandise presentation.
- Help stage trailers, accessories, and promotional displays.
- Support store resets and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
- Keep the showroom, warehouse, and outdoor lot clean, organized, and customer-ready.
Operational Support
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment when authorized.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Preferred
- Experience in retail sales, warehouse operations, inventory control, or shipping/receiving.
- Experience with trailer, automotive, RV, agricultural, equipment, or powersports parts.
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Experience with inventory management or POS systems.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment associated with retail and warehouse operations.
