Job summary

Bish's RV in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Parts Outfitter Associate to source, organize, and distribute RV parts and accessories. You will support customers, technicians, and internal teams, ensuring the right parts are available at the right time to enhance service efficiency and customer experience.

The role emphasizes inventory management, product knowledge, and proactive assistance. Pay starts at $18 hourly, with opportunities to grow through training and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background and drug test.
• Experience in RV parts, automotive parts, hardware retail, or similar environment preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of RV or vehicle systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance).
• Comfort with computers and parts-management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting RV parts and accessories that fit needs and budget.
• Support technicians by pulling parts, verifying compatibility, and ensuring timely delivery to service bays.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Organize shelves, storage areas, and displays for accessibility and visual appeal.
• Process customer orders in person, by phone, and online including quotes and returns.
• Maintain knowledge of RV brands, systems, and commonly used components.
• Communicate with vendors to check availability, pricing, or track special orders.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits; resolve discrepancies.
• Provide recommendations on accessories, upgrades, and add-on products to boost sales.

Key Objectives

• Quicklylocate, source, and distribute parts for service jobs, customer orders, and inventory needs
• Provide knowledgeable guidance to customers and staffregardingRV parts, accessories, and product compatibility
• Maintain proper stock levels, ensureaccuratecounts, and supporttimelyrestocking

• Attentionto detail and willingness to learn the technical aspects of RV components
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to work at least two Saturdays a month
