JC Davis Ventures, LLC dba JC Davis Power is seeking a Buyer/Expeditor in Elgin, Texas. This role focuses on placing and expediting parts orders for maintenance and refurbishment, ownership from submission to receipt, and close collaboration with vendors.

The position is full-time hybrid (4 days in the office) with an 8:00 AM start, requiring 3-5 years in purchasing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes and backorders while escalating issues to the Senior

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing, buying, or expediting experience.
• Owns purchase orders through receipt and close follow-up.
• Familiar with three-way match: PO, receipt, and bill.

Responsibilities

• Place parts orders with vendors using Limble and other processes.
• Track purchase orders from submission to receipt.
• Monitor open POs for partial shipments and backorders.
• Follow up with vendors on incomplete shipments and inform requesters.
• Escalate extended backorders to Senior Buyer/Expeditor for decision.
• Assess lead times and encourage proactive ordering.
