Job summary

DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. in Pekin, IL is seeking a dedicated Buyer/Expediter to ensure timely material flow to the production floor. You will manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and resolve delivery issues in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in purchasing or expediting, strong ERP skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to meet production deadlines and budget targets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of purchasing, expediting or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong vendor communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, create, and process purchase orders for manufacturing supplies.
• Utilize ERP to manage orders, track status, and maintain records.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm delivery schedules and resolve issues.
• Notify internal stakeholders of delays, risks, or supply disruptions.
• Expedite purchase orders and materials to meet delivery goals.
• Review inventory discrepancies and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with other departments on corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager.
