Job summary

Asbury Koons Arlington Toyota is hiring a Parts Driver to pick up, verify, and deliver parts to customers and dealerships within a local area. You will work with the parts team to ensure orders match invoices and PO numbers, while maintaining accurate paperwork and timely deliveries.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver's license, and a customer-focused approach. Weekly pay ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, with paid holidays, training, and benefits under Asbury's

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test).
• Experience with automotive parts is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed.
• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO for each pick-up.
• Secure and unload parts truck each night.
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule.

The Parts Driver is responsible for selecting, verifying and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments.

• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
