The role emphasizes efficiency, profitability, and service excellence. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in parts management, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with inventory software.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in parts management (trailer or heavy equipment preferred).
• Proven ability in inventory control, vendor negotiations, and team leadership.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day parts operations including ordering, inventory control, and over-the-counter sales.
• Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate parts department staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate parts support for service repairs and customer inquiries.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Build and manage vendor relationships; negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Handle parts returns, warranty claims, and track inbound/outbound shipments.
• Maintain precise documentation for parts transactions and inventory records.
• Coordinate with the service department to forecast and fulfill parts needs.
• Track department KPIs and implement strategies to achieve monthly targets.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
