Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Assistant Parts Manager in Oklahoma City to support the Parts Department leadership. This role involves supervising staff, helping customers select parts, and ensuring full product line exposure while coordinating with Centralized Purchasing in the manager’s absence.

You will also handle MDL orders, price quotes, stock pulls, and daily stock notifications to keep operations efficient. A strong customer-service focus and basic data-entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months’ experience in parts department functions.
• Must be computer literate and must be able to perform all data entry functions in the department.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsabilités

• Supervise employees engaged in sales work, taking inventories, keeping operating records, or performing work of subordinates as needed.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure exposure to the full product line.
• Liaise between operations and Centralized Purchasing in absence of Parts Manager.
• Review daily MDl orders in absence of Parts Manager.
• Answer calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock items.
• Notify service technicians when special ordered parts are received.
• Assist with receiving daily stock orders.
