Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Manager to direct purchasing and distribution of parts. Based in Joliet, IL, this full-time role requires leadership to optimize inventory and to supervise counter staff.

Responsibilities include establishing controls to maximize turnover, developing loss-prevention policies, building strong customer relationships, and meeting sales and profit targets. Relocation may be required; on-site work expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Two years’ parts inventory experience in a dealership environment.
• Driver's license with a safe driving record as per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Establish inventory controls, levels, and balances for maximum turnover.
• Develop policies and procedures to maximize inventory security and minimize loss.
• Build loyal clientele and foster good relationships with customers.
• Set and achieve sales and profit objectives.
• Prepare and administer the annual operating budget.
• Complete commission calculations for parts counter sales staff.
• Centralize purchasing.
• Assist in collecting past due accounts.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
