Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Delivery Specialist to operate company vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments. You will use handheld devices, capture signatures, and perform daily vehicle inspections. You may assist as cashier and help with merchandising as needed.

Strong communication, a clean driving record, and the ability to adapt to changing delivery scenarios are essential. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired and multi-language skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Familiarity with automotive parts desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Assist customers as needed, including cashiering and merchandising tasks.
