Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is a busy delivery and parts service role in Edison, NJ. You will pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, collect returns and cores, and distribute weekly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist in upselling and cross-selling products, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
