Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Newton, NJ is seeking a Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to professional customers, build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts, and support sales through upselling. Responsibilities include handling returns, distributing weekly sales flyers, collecting credit accounts, stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Must have a valid driver's license and high school diploma; automotive knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Automotive parts knowledge or experience preferred.
Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
Ability to read safety rules and product manuals.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
Pick up returns and cores.
Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers and promote loyalty programs.
Daily collection of credit accounts and maintenance of customer records.
Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide insights from deliveries.
Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels; perform truck/back stock duties.
Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
