Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles delivering parts safely to customers. You will also collect COD payments, process deliveries with handheld devices, and manage returns. The role requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The job includes daily vehicle inspections, security of keys and monies, and potential duties in cashiering and merchandising when business demands. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely.
• Use fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries and capture signatures.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill driver return slips.
• Report issues or special needs from customers to store management.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist with cashiering, merchandising, and stock tasks as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
