O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers in a safe, efficient manner. The role also involves collecting COD payments, picking up customer returns, and communicating any issues to store management.

You will use fleet devices to process deliveries, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections; maintain cash and assets securely; and support merchandising and occasional cashier duties as needed.

Formación

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained, conducting daily inspections before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill driver return slips.
• Report problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report Vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy; assist customers as needed and help with merchandising.
