Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Texas is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to professional customers. You will collect returns, manage cores, and promote current sales and loyalty programs while building relationships with pro customers.

Responsibilities include daily credit account collection, stocking, inventory control, and assisting customers by recommending parts or services. A valid driver's license and safe driving are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and counting.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
