Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and handle daily credit account collection.

The role requires a valid driver's license, safe driving, excellent communication, and the ability to work days, evenings and weekends while maintaining store cleanliness and accurate stocking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
