Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and manage returns. You will engage with walk-in customers, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and support store operations through accurate stock handling and daily credit collection.

The role rewards reliability, effective communication and a willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques while working a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedures manuals.
• Ability to work varying days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels including back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
