Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dependable Driver to pick, stage and deliver automotive parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, promote sales and loyalty programs, and assist with inventory and merchandising.

The role requires strong English communication, basic math, and the ability to work flexible days, evenings, and weekends; a valid driver’s license with a clean record is essential.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory management.
• Ability to adapt to flexible day/evening/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
