Conicelli is seeking a Parts Counterperson specializing in Honda parts to be the main contact for technicians and customers, accurately identifying and processing Honda parts for service. You will support inventory and parts sales while upholding high service standards.

You will use electronic catalogs, assist with inventory, handle POS transactions, upsell parts, and maintain accurate data entry to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced dealership environment.

• Possesses strong knowledge of Honda Parts and their applications.
• Is proficient in Parts Identification using catalogs and software.
• Exhibits excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills.
• Understands basic principles of Inventory Management.
• Is adept at Order Processing and handling transactions.
• Displays strong Communication Skills, both verbal and written.
• Has general knowledge of Automotive Parts and systems.
• Is experienced with Point of Sale (POS) Systems and other relevant software.
• Shows a natural aptitude for Sales and upselling.
• Performs accurate Data Entry with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and retrieves specific Honda Parts for service technicians and customers, ensuring accuracy.
• Utilizes electronic catalogs and parts diagrams for precise Parts Identification.
• Provides exceptional Customer Service, assisting customers with inquiries, offering product information, and resolving parts-related issues.
• Assists with Inventory Management, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Processes parts orders, returns, and special requests efficiently using established procedures.
• Maintains clear and effective Communication Skills with customers, service advisors, and technicians to coordinate parts delivery and availability.
• Applies comprehensive knowledge of Automotive Parts to recommend appropriate components and accessories.
• Operates Point of Sale (POS) Systems to complete transactions, generate invoices, and manage customer accounts.
• Engages in proactive Sales efforts, promoting parts and accessories to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Performs accurate Data Entry for parts orders, inventory adjustments, and customer information.

Education

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Demonstrates previous experience as a Parts Counterperson, specifically with Honda parts.
• Has a proven track record of working in an automotive dealership or parts retail environment.

Knowledge/Skills

• Possesses strong knowledge of Honda Parts and their applications.
• Is proficient in Parts Identification using various catalogs and software.
• Exhibits excellent Customer Service and interpersonal skills.
• Understands basic principles of Inventory Management.
• Is adept at Order Processing and handling transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Holds Honda factory training or certifications.
• Possesses experience with specific dealership management systems (DMS).

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

• Stands, walks, lifts, and bends frequently throughout the shift.
• Lifts and carries automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Works in a fast-paced environment that may include exposure to noise and vehicle fumes.
• Operates computer systems, scanners, and other office equipment for extended periods.
