Tonkin Gresham Honda in Gresham, OR is seeking a versatile Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our fast-paced dealership team. You will assist service technicians, manage online orders, and serve walk-in customers with product knowledge and top-notch service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training a plus
• Previous experience in automotive parts, retail, or inventory management preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to assist both technicians and retail customers
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable using computer systems for order entry, inventory management, and online sales
• Ability to lift and carry parts as needed and work on your feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Promptly and accurately assist technicians at the parts counter with parts needed for Honda service and repair orders
• Support fast-moving service operations with efficient parts fulfillment
• Manage online parts and accessories orders from intake to fulfillment, including shipping and customer communication
• Handle wholesale accounts, including taking phone orders, quoting prices, and building relationships with local repair shops
• Provide front counter support to walk-in retail customers, offering product knowledge and great service
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory with attention to accuracy and detail
• Monitor parts levels and help maintain accurate records of stock and movementCollaborate with the Parts Manager and team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized workspace at all times
