Courtesy CDJR in Mesa is seeking a Parts Counterperson to help customers identify, locate, and purchase automotive parts and accessories, while maintaining accurate inventory records and processing transactions. You will ensure timely delivery of parts and provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of auto parts sales experience.
• Eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to calculate figures including discounts and volumes.
• Knowledge of parts and automotive systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Willing to pass drug screen and background check.

Position Overview:

Courtesy CDJR is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers.
• Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of prior auto parts sales experience.
• Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to calculate figures/amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, area, circumference, and volume.
• Parts and automotive system knowledge skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
