Responsibilities

• Communication with customers on parts status
• Communication with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts are ordered and pricing aligns with the estimate
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on a service repair order
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership
• Handle parts payment collection and ensure all parts are billed correctly through the service department
• Package and ship parts back to the manufacturer when needed, maintaining proper records
• Refer to parts manuals (hard copy and electronic) to identify the correct parts for the vehicle make, model, and year
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when replacements are unavailable

Requirements

• Two years of experience preferred
• CDK experience preferred
• Adequate time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Clean driving record
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
