Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to support our service and sales departments. This role is responsible for assisting customers and technicians with parts inquiries and purchases, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a seamless parts department operation. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive parts experience and a proactive, team-driven mindset.

Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (with some Saturday work)

Work Requirements:

• Ability to Commute: Morganton, NC (Required)

• Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and technicians with parts needs promptly and accurately

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of parts inventory, availability, and ordering systems

• Process orders, returns, and special requests efficiently

• Communicate parts status and updates to customers and staff

• Help manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized parts department

• Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer guidelines

• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a parts counter person, preferably in a dealership setting

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Reynolds and Reynolds

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
