Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Counter Person to assist customers in selecting and purchasing parts over the counter, in the shop, or by phone. A fast-paced role in the parts department will require accurate pricing and efficient order processing to support service and shop operations.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and exposes full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Reviews body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock and notifies of out-of-stock parts.
