Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Ford parts a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures including discounts, commissions and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Maintain friendly, professional communication with staff and customers.
• Read and interpret parts catalogs when looking up parts.
• Provide price quotes and information over the phone.
• Review shop estimates for pricing accuracy and part alignment.
• Pull and fill orders from stock, and perform weekly stock checks.
• Notify Parts manager of out-of-stock parts or urgent needs.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources when necessary.
• Ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service orders.
• Process payments or obtain credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
