You will respond to parts phone inquiries, help customers locate and obtain needed parts, and support shop mechanics by issuing parts and placing orders for Caterpillar and allied parts.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Caterpillar parts.
• Familiarity with product line and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using computer systems and basic keyboarding.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer parts phone calls.
• Assist customers with their parts needs.
• Issue parts to shop mechanics.
• Place orders for Caterpillar and Allied parts.
• Utilize parts data bases; research back-orders.
• Research customer credit status.
