Irr Supply Centers, Inc. in New York is seeking a dependable Parts Counter Salesperson who greets customers, helps identify the parts they need, and processes sales with accuracy. This role blends customer service with hands-on warehouse tasks and daily inventory support.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with alternating Saturdays, 8 a.m.–12 p.m. The job emphasizes product knowledge, teamwork, and reliable, active engagement throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or parts/warehouse environments is helpful.
• Ability to learn our inventory system and basic product knowledge (training provided).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A positive, professional attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, lift, and move products throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and on the phone, assist with identifying and locating the parts they need.
• Provide accurate product, pricing, and availability information.
• Enter and process sales transactions using our computer system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient counter and workspace.
• Assist with inventory: restocking shelves, pulling orders, and performing cycle counts.
• Pick and stage parts for delivery or customer pickup.
• Help move and organize inventory in the warehouse when needed.
• Work closely with your team to meet customer needs and maintain service standards.
