Job summary

Western Equipment in Clinton, OK is seeking a Parts Clerk to handle selling, receiving and delivery of parts and accessories. The role includes in-store customer service, inventory management, and merchandising responsibilities to support sales and showroom presentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Handles customer needs for the entire transactional process – looking up parts, pulling parts, selling parts, loading out parts.
• Responsible for the entire inventory process with Non-Deere parts – receipting the parts and marking-up price to ensure gross margin.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
• Verifies receipting‑in of shipments and assists with placing machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations.
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Parts Manager.
• Listens and records potential customer needs or sales/service leads.
• Assist in auditing customer orders in the customer bins – >14 day warning call.
• Regularly stocks showroom – as needed.
• Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
• Handles customer needs for the entire transactional process – looking up parts, pulling parts, selling parts, loading out parts
• Responsible for the entire inventory process with Non-Deere parts – receipting the parts under the price specified from the vendor and then, marking-up price to ensure gross margin.
• Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verifies receipting‑in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Parts Manager – Does not act on the shortages
• Listens and records potential customer needs or sales/service leads
• Will assist in the auditing of customer orders in the customer bins – through making the > 14 day warning call
• Regularly stocks showroom – as needed
• Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly
