JX Enterprises is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to join our team at 10203 W 191st Street, Mokena, IL. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at the parts counter and supporting shop operations with accurate parts fulfillment.

You will process orders, locate parts from vendors, and assist service technicians, leveraging product knowledge to help customers choose the right parts and meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School or equivalent education.
• Strong customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with automotive or truck parts handling is a plus.
• Familiarity with inventory controls and parts ordering processes.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Process parts orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.

Your Next Big Career Move: Parts Counter Representative located at 10203 W 191st Street, Mokena, IL 60448.

Second Shift:

Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Shift Premium:

Any work performed/hours worked Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 5:59 am and/or any hours worked on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) will be paid a shift differential of 15% of your base wage.

• What You'll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):


• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to create positive interactions while keeping customers informed about special orders and back ordered parts and handling returns if necessary.


• Accurately process parts orders, ensuring the correct parts are selected and available for customers while adhering to delivery timelines.


• Locate and secure parts from various vendors for shop jobs, demonstrating a proactive approach to honoring commitments and fulfilling customer orders.


• Provide technical assistance to customers, including assisting service technicians with acquiring parts.


• Utilize strong product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the right parts for their needs, ensuring a positive and satisfactory experience.


• Provide technical assistance to customers, including assisting service technicians with acquiring parts.


• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.


• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• High School or equivalent


• Previous customer service experience


• 3 years of Automotive or truck parts related experience


• Understands and can identify common commodity parts


• Able to perform accurate cycle-counts


• Able to order and check-in parts orders


• Intermediate Computer skills


• Able to work independently
