Job summary

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six years related experience and/or training.
• Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
• Computer skills need to be broad based.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by identifying needed items and using catalogs and computer systems, billing merchandise orders and entering inventory.
• Process orders, invoices, and payments; manage inventory entries and returns.
• Distribute special order parts and receive warranty parts; stock and locate items efficiently.
• Prepare computerized invoices and handle payment or credit authorization as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and assist with annual inventory.
