Pick Your Part Southeast LLC in Gainesville, FL is seeking an in-person sales associate to assist walk-in customers, identify parts, and process transactions at the front counter. You will use inventory software to locate exact matches for customers and help drive strong, hands-on service at the counter.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service background.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• High School or GED equivalent preferred; college coursework desired.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Two to three years of prior customer service relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• In-Person Sales: Provide immediate, high-quality service to all walk-in retail and wholesale customers.
• Parts Identification: Use inventory software to help customers find exact matches for their vehicles with the vehicles on-site.
• Sales: Actively manage the front counter area, processing cash and credit transactions using POS systems.
• Yard Coordination: Communicate directly with parts pullers to retrieve parts for customers that want the company to pull their parts for them
• Merchandising & Displays: Set up and maintain physical displays of popular parts (e.g., batteries, fluids, tools) to drive impulse sales.
• Core & Returns Management: Inspect physical parts returned by walk-in customers to verify condition and process credits or warranty claims
• Assumes other duties as assigned
