Job summary

Georgica Auto is seeking a Parts Counter Person to help customers and technicians locate and buy the correct vehicle parts. You will support inventory control, process orders, and ensure accurate invoices while maintaining a clean, organized parts department.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and familiarity with automotive parts catalogs, with a preference for knowledge of Audi and Porsche parts.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts sales preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems, Audi/Porsche preferred.
• Proficient in using computer systems and electronic catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and service technicians in selecting and purchasing required parts.
• Use electronic catalogs to identify parts accurately.
• Process parts orders, including special orders, and track their status.
• Maintain inventory records including receiving, stocking, and returning parts.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate part availability, pricing, and delivery times to customers.
• Handle inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Process payments and issue invoices.
• Keep the parts department clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Continuously update product knowledge of Audi and Porsche parts and accessories.

Job Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
