Serra Toyota in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Experienced Automotive Parts Counter Person to support technicians and customers. Compensation ranges from $45,000 to $70,000+ annually based on experience, with paid factory training and growth opportunities.

The role requires parts sourcing, inventory control, and familiarity with Toyota parts catalogs and electronic systems. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in an automotive dealership parts counter is required.
• Toyota parts experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and repair procedures.
• Experience supporting service technicians and service department operations.
• Familiarity with dealership parts management systems and catalogs.
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing, special orders, and returns.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale accounts, and retail customers with accurate and timely parts sourcing.
• Identify and locate Toyota and aftermarket parts using catalogs and electronic systems.
• Support technicians by ensuring the correct parts are available to complete repairs.
• Use SmartPath to assist with parts estimates and parts identification.
• Utilize Rapid Recon to coordinate and track parts needs for used-vehicle reconditioning.
• Order, receive, stock, and organize parts with accurate inventory records.
• Monitor backorders and parts availability to minimize repair delays.
• Coordinate with service to prioritize parts requests and keep repair orders moving.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, returns, and warranty parts procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized parts department and follow Toyota guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians, service advisors, wholesale accounts, and retail customers with accurate and timely parts sourcing.
• Identify and locate Toyota and aftermarket parts using dealership parts catalogs and electronic systems.
• Support technicians by ensuring the correct parts are available to complete repairs efficiently.
• Use SmartPath to assist with parts estimates and parts identification where applicable.
• Utilize Rapid Recon to coordinate and track parts needs for used‑vehicle reconditioning.
• Order, receive, stock, and organize parts while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Monitor special orders, backorders, and parts availability to minimize repair delays.
• Coordinate with the service department to prioritize parts requests and keep repair orders moving.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, returns, and warranty parts procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department.
• Follow Toyota manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
• Complete required Toyota training and stay current on parts systems, products, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership parts counter experience required.
• Toyota parts experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, repair procedures, and parts identification.
• Experience supporting service technicians and service department operations.
• Familiarity with dealership parts management systems and electronic parts catalogs.
• Experience with inventory management, purchasing, special orders, and returns.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize requests in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
