The Larson Group Peterbilt in Portage, IN is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Lead to join our fast‑paced team. You will oversee the parts counter, staff, and ensure customers receive the best possible experience.

Responsibilities include performing all parts counter functions, maintaining a professional, helpful attitude with customers in person, by phone, or online, and coaching counter staff on processes and products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years Parts Counter experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carryout all functions of the Parts Counter position.
• Display a professional, positive and helpful attitude when helping customers in person at the dealership, via phone, e-mail or e-commerce.
• Training is kept at a 90% completion or above. Must remain up to date on all product information.
• Assist in the development and coaching of Parts Counter personnel on processes and product knowledge so that counter staff deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Communicates with Parts Management on identified issues or areas of improvement needed to enhance the customer experience at the Parts Counter.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
