Job summary

Transteck, Inc. is seeking an experienced Parts Counter for our heavy truck dealership in the Northeast US. The role includes in-person, phone, email, and online sales, sourcing parts for fast fulfillment, and meeting sales and gross profit targets.

The candidate will be cross-trained in warehouse and parts delivery tasks and will provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe work area and participating in ongoing OEM training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years sales experience preferred.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Handle in-person, phone, email, and online sales for parts.
• Source parts for timely fulfillment and maintain quotes.
• Meet sales and gross profit goals.
• Process orders per dealer procedures and handle special orders for service.

Transteck has an immediate opening for an experienced Parts Counter person for our heavy truck dealership. This position will be cross trained in the warehouse and parts delivery positions as well.

Description for Parts Counter:

• In person/phone/email/online sales
• Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
• Meet sales goals and gross profit goals
• Order parts according to dealership procedures
• Maintain special order parts for service department
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed
• Process core/warranty according to company guidelines

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• One-Two years sales experience preferred
• Clean driving record
