Job summary

Cavender Toyota in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Parts Counter Associate with basic automotive knowledge and strong customer service skills to grow within the automotive industry.

You’ll assist retail customers, service technicians, and wholesale accounts with parts inquiries and orders, identify parts and pricing, respond to inquiries, and work with service, sales, and accounting teams in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Availability to work Monday–Saturday
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Basic computer skills (dealership or CDK experience is a plus)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers, service technicians, and wholesale accounts with parts inquiries and orders
• Identify parts, pricing, and availability using dealership systems
• Answer phone calls and respond to online inquiries professionally and promptly
• Accurately bill parts to Repair Orders (ROs)
• Support inventory tasks including stocking, returns, and organization
• Process warranty parts and core returns
• Collaborate with service, sales, and accounting teams
