Job summary

Advantage Truck Group in New England is seeking a full-time Parts Counter Apprentice to support shop, fleet, and retail customers with parts lookups, quotes, and sales orders. You’ll be trained across the parts department, warehouse operations, and inventory management while learning vendor deliveries and core truck systems under experienced mentors.

A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Customer service: assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with parts needs.
• Team player with reliable work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
• Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assist shop, fleet and retail customers in identifying and purchasing parts.
• Pull and prepare parts for customer orders; assist with shipping/receiving and stock shelves.
• Learn inventory control and perform regular cycle counts.
• Perform vendor pickups and parts deliveries as needed; build relationships.
• Complete required training on truck core systems and customer service standards.
