Primary Responsibilities:

• Sell spare and replacement parts for equipment in the repair shop or parts store.
• Look up parts for customers and service technicians via phone, fax, or face-to-face using computer systems.
• Provide quotes, parts availability, and shipping options to customers.
• Offer replacement part options, including remanufactured or used parts.
• Advise customers on replacement or modification of parts when identical replacements are unavailable.
• Examine returned parts for defects or issue credits as needed.
• Assist in warehouse duties as required.
• Provide basic customer service, including needs assessment, meeting service standards, and customer evaluation.
• Promote and sell Fabick's products and services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Greet counter customers, even when engaged with other customers or on the phone.
• Maintain knowledge of parts information systems such as DBS, SIS, WMS.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• 1-3 years of counter sales experience preferred.
• Active listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking to identify solutions.
• Mechanical aptitude or understanding of assembly and operation.
• Dynamic, energetic, with excellent communication, organizational, and mechanical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, read, talk, write, and hear. Occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for disabilities.
