Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team in Dartmouth! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customer service at our branch as the key contact for advising and distributing parts, consistently providing superior service.

As a Parts Counter Person, you will experience:

In a typical day, you will:

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviors at all times, supporting Toromont’s health and safety policies and initiatives
• Enhance customer experience and brand loyalty by providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations, and communicating current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectively via email, phone, and in person in a courteous manner
• Handle daily parts operations such as sourcing, procuring, ordering parts, following up on backorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warranties, and building hydraulic hoses for internal and external customers
• Provide on-call service as needed, including weekends and evenings

Must-haves for this role:

• Post-secondary education
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role
