Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Customer Care Parts Coordinator to manage and pull service parts for dealers and homeowners at our Savannah area facility. You will maintain inventory, log orders, verify materials, and ensure timely delivery while communicating clearly with customers.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, strong organization, and proficiency with MS Office (Excel). AS400 knowledge is a plus; join a team that values service, reliability, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory controls in office and warehouse.
  • Take and log parts orders for dealers and homeowners.
  • Review orders with purchasing to ensure materials are available.
  • Package and ship parts to customers within required time frame.
  • Coordinate with dealer, homeowner, and transportation for timely delivery.
  • Document and process orders; file paperwork regularly.
  • Communicate with customers to set delivery expectations.
  • Follow up until claims are resolved.
  • Create processes to improve the customer experience.

Position Summary

The Customer Care Parts Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and pulling required service parts. A successful team member will be reliable, responsible, and detail oriented, as well as understand customer service and act in a cooperative and positive manner. The Customer Care Parts Coordinator is also expected to develop an understanding of common names for the same part and communicate exactly what is being requested.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Maintaining inventory controls in office and warehouse environments.
  • Taking and logging parts orders for dealers and homeowners.
  • Reviewing parts orders with purchasing to ensure materials are available to pull.
  • Reviewing orders to ensure that the quantities are correct in the systems and that the correct parts were pulled.
  • Packaging and shipping parts to customers within required time frame
  • Documenting and processing orders
  • Coordinating with dealer, homeowner, and transportation service to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Filing paperwork on a regular, if not daily basis
  • Communicate positively and frequently with customers to set delivery expectations.
  • Following up internally and externally until claim is resolved.
  • Creating individual processes to improve our customers’ experience, as needed, and reevaluating individual processes from improved customer experience.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, associate degree or higher, preferred.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and customers
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel
  • Knowledge of AS400 preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of job-related policies
