Job Summary

The Parts Coordinator manages all stages of procurement and payment of parts, along with distribution to applicable parties. Additionally, this person will manage stock parts inventory, track maintenance department spending, and ensure the parts/invoicing program (SAP) reflects correct data.

Job Responsibilities

1. Practice and champion safety in all aspects of the position. Follow LEAN practices such as 5S and Kanban to maintain stock levels with Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP).
2. Source parts and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure success at the Production Facility.
   • Coordinate with vendors for rebuilds and with scheduling and management to maximize downtime efficiency.
   • Work with the planning team to schedule and kit work orders for weekly maintenance.
3. Interface with internal and external partners to ensure safe work scheduling, parts procurement, and vendor performance tracking.
4. Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP.
5. Monitor and replenish inventory to prevent shortages.
6. Process invoices and related financial transactions accurately.
7. Arrange disposal of hazardous materials following federal and company policies.
8. Track and report department spend against budget.
9. Support predictive maintenance plans and assist during absences of Maintenance Operations Facilitators.
10. Provide training on MRP and inventory control to Maintenance and Production Technicians.

Job Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Experience with MS Office, SAP, and CMMA software.
3. Preferred experience with ordering industrial machinery parts and vendor negotiations.
4. Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
5. Knowledge of inventory control, parts management, and accounts payable/receivable processes.
6. Understanding of manufacturing environments and high-speed equipment is preferred.
7. Familiarity with LEAN and TPM methodologies is preferred.
8. Ability to build collaborative relationships.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
