Transdev in City of Victoria, TX is hiring a Parts Clerk to organize and manage the fleet parts department, interfacing with agencies, vendors, and customers. The role emphasizes operational support, client relations, accountability, and cost/quality control of parts.

Transdev in the City of Victoria, TX, is hiring a Parts Clerk. This position will be responsible for the organization and profitability of the fleet’s parts department. This individual will interface with using agencies, vendors, and internal/external customers. Specific attention will be given to operational support, client relations, accountability, and cost/quality of parts.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $20.00 – Maximum $22.00

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating
• Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of parts room experience
• Computer literate with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside; work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possibly sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
