Job summary

Four Star Freightliner in Midway, FL is seeking a Parts Back Counter associate to pull parts for service technicians, identify items using catalogs, and upsell related parts. You will also bill parts to the correct repair orders and manage stock items, keeping meticulous inventory records.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Previous Truck Dealership experience is a plus
• Previous Experience in the Transportation Industry is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Pulling parts for Service technicians.
• Properly identify needed items using internet and parts catalogs.
• Suggest additional parts and accessories for purchase.
• Correctly billing parts to the proper repair order.
• Pulling in stock items from inventory.
• Completing all required documents before disbursing parts.
• Enter all necessary information into inventory control system.
• Provide updated information for stock orders.
• Return all unsold merchandise back to stock.
• Check in parts, match packing list to orders.
• Put away received parts in proper bins/location.
• Stocking and re-stocking parts inventory in our parts warehouse as needed.
• Conducting periodic parts cycle count to reconcile in-stock inventory as needed.
• Any other duties may be assigned by Parts Management
