Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics and customers with purchasing needs for parts and supplies.
• Handle parts payment collection and ensure correct billing through service department.
• Help retail and wholesale customers identify and purchase the correct parts using catalogs or manuals.
• Process warranty parts claims and returns according to policies.
• Use catalogs and inventory systems to look up part numbers, check stock, and place orders.
• Receive, unpack, and store shipments; verify quantities and update records.
• Answer calls with parts price quotes and other inquiries.
• Issue correct parts to service technicians and ship orders to customers when needed.
• Keep the parts counter and stockroom clean, organized, and replenished daily.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts to maintain workflow and timely delivery.
