Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Parts Associate to maintain inventory accuracy, process orders, and support the Parts Manager with stock control. The role requires basic system skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varied outdoor/indoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders when order-points are reached.
• Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and shelving; updates inventory system.
• Receives returned items, inspects, repacks, shelves, and returns damaged parts to supplier.
• Keeps environment safe and secure by following policies and safety standards.
• Place daily parts orders and assist Parts Manager with weekly stock orders.
• Match purchase orders and invoices; forward to accounting; prepare for annual inventory.

Through DRV PNK, we have raised over $40 million for cancer-related causes, demonstrating our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of our Associates, Customers, and the communities we serve.The Autonation USA Parts Associates ensures proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions..What are the day-to-day responsibilities?Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders when order-points are reached.Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves and adjusting inventory system.Receives returned items by inspecting items; re-packing and re-shelving items; returning damaged and unused parts to supplier.Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading about new products.Place daily parts orders. Assist Parts Manager in processing weekly stock orders.Ensure that credits are received for returned parts. Remove returned parts from inventory after credit are received.Assist in annual parts returns.
