AutoNation is hiring for a Retail Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate. You will verify and process incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate records, and ensure parts inventory is well organized and properly labeled.

Responsibilities include weighing items, confirming details with invoices, choosing shipment methods, and operating equipment like forklifts. A high school diploma, one year in retail/wholesale parts, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
• Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs and use parts department software.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify information against invoices and orders.
• Determine method of shipment and prepare items for dispatch.
• Maintain receiving and shipping records and related documentation.
• Operate heavy machinery (forklift, pallet jack) as required.
• Unpack, inspect and report damaged shipments; communicate with shippers.

The Retail Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
