Job summary

Rentix Solutions in Northville, MI, is seeking a Parts Associate to support parts sales and distribution for internal and external customers. This role involves assisting customers with inquiries, sourcing parts, and processing orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous parts, warehouse, heavy equipment, or truck experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts inquiries, quotes, and orders.
• Identify and source parts for customers and service jobs.
• Order parts and special items from vendors.
• Process and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Pull, package, load, and unload parts as needed.
• Assist with parts inventory and obsolete or overstock inventory.
• Support branches with parts needs as needed.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and other Rentix locations.
• Support service and warranty needs by sourcing parts and supplies.
• Maintain accurate parts and order information in company systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Parts Associate is responsible for supporting parts sales and distribution for internal and external customers. This position will assist customers with parts inquiries, identify and source parts, process orders, support branch and service needs, maintain accurate inventory, and help ensure customers receive the correct parts in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is customer focused, organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
