Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking a Parts and Service Advisor to support our customer service standards.

You will be responsible for facilitating service orders, updating customers on repairs, and processing invoices with accuracy and care in a fast-paced shop and field environment. The role emphasizes a diesel/automotive background, strong communication skills, and the ability to build professional relationships with customers while delivering excellent service and pursuing upsell

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. ASE certs encouraged.
• CDL is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Able to build professional relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Solicit sale of new or additional services.
• Utilize computer systems to update customers on repairs and process invoices (incl. warranty claims).
• Communicate with customers in person, by phone, and via computer.
• Handle and resolve service-related concerns.
• Write clear and informative repair orders.

$28-32 per hour depending upon experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solicit sale of new or additional services
• Strong Data Entry Skills
• Utilizes computer system for updating customers on ongoing repairs in shop or field, processing service invoices to include warranty claims.
• Communicating with customer in person, over the phone and using computer
• Handle/resolve service-related concerns
• Responsible for writing clear and informative repair orders

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Diesel technician background a plus
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• ASE certifications strongly encouraged
• CDL is a Plus
• Ability to create professional relationships with customers
• Ability to stay self-motivated

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard
