Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor - Customer Support Representative in Antioch, TN. The role focuses on interpreting customer needs for parts and service, and coordinating with our scheduling system to fulfill orders.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and prior diesel/auto tech or customer service experience. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is a plus, and DOT medical card must be obtainable.

• Diesel/auto technical or customer service experience preferred (REQUIRED).
• Strong ability to interpret customer needs and translate into parts/service actions.
• Experience with scheduling and order-entry processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Open and close parts and service tickets (warranty and customer pay).
• Identify parts and service needs via phone or in person and arrange scheduling.
• Enter orders accurately into the computer system and quote labor/parts.
• Solicit additional parts or services when appropriate.
• Read manuals to determine part specifications.

In this role, Service Advisor - Customer Support Representative, associate will Interpret customer needs on telephone or in person to fulfill the parts and service needs of the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

• Open and close parts and service tickets for both warranty and customer pay invoices.
• Talks with customers by phone or in person to identify parts and/or service needs and sets those customers up with our scheduling system
• Completes information, determines charges for service requested, and quotes labor and/or parts required by customer
• Solicits sale of new or additional parts or services.
• Reads parts and service manuals to ascertain type and specification of part.
• Utilizes computer system for entering and updating customer orders
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to write an accurate, descriptive and clear repair order for work to be performed. The employee is required to efficiently and accurately enter the order information into a specialized computer system, and effectively participate in self-directed work teams.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous diesel/auto technical or customer service experience REQUIRED

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS?

• Valid Driver's License
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a plus
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
