Job summary

Ford & Slater in Norwich is seeking a Parts Advisor to deliver professional parts sales to trade customers face-to-face, over the counter and by phone. You will promote growth of the parts business using identification tools to respond quickly.

The role offers an excellent hourly rate, training via the DAF Academy, generous holiday entitlement, pension and other benefits, with alternate weeks and shift times; full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Parts Advisor or similar within commercial vehicle/motor trade beneficial.
• Sales driven with a passion for trucks and parts.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• PC literate and proficient with standard software.
• Must hold a Full UK driving licence.

Required Experience & Skills

• Ideally previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role within the commercial vehicle, motor trade or associated sector.
• Sales driven with a passion for trucks and knowledge of truck/trailer parts.
• Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
• PC literate.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

You will provide a professional parts sales service to internal and external customers face‑to‑face, over the trade counter and telephone. Promote and encourage growth of the parts business. Utilise all parts identification tools to ensure an effective and efficient customer response.

Shift Pattern

Alternate weeks, Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm / 11:30am to 8pm. 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8am – Midday paid as overtime.
