Job summary

Fayette Parts Service Inc. is seeking a Parts Professional to deliver prompt, courteous service to customers in-store, over the phone, or at the dealer’s shop.

You will look up parts in catalogs or the POS system, process orders with accuracy, and advise customers on the best solutions while upholding company policies and warranties. Qualifications

• Establish and maintain courteous, efficient customer service.
• Identify part numbers and line codes quickly for accurate delivery.
• Communicate clearly and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to work retail hours at any store location.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Lifting/moving parts up to 60 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to customers in person, by phone, or in the dealer’s shop.
• Look up parts applications in catalogs or POS system and process orders accurately.
• Advise customers to meet their needs and resolve questions or problems of a technical nature.
• Apply knowledge of products, warranties, sales programs, and policies to assist customers.
• Serve as a resource for advice to store personnel and support sales efforts.
• Maintain POS ability, price accuracy, and visual standards in-store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
